Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: May 21, 2026

Overview

ArcFinance is a non-custodial protocol. We do not hold user accounts, passwords, or government identifiers, so most user-controlled deletion can be performed locally without contacting us. This page documents how to delete each category of data we retain.

Categories of Data We Retain

  • Off-chain records tied to your wallet address — deposit submissions, bridge records, swap history surfaced from server logs.
  • Anonymised analytics collected via Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel — page views, clicks, country-level location. No personally identifiable information.
  • Local browser data stored in your own browser's localStorage — wallet session, notification state, swap history cache.

How to Request Deletion of Off-chain Records

Email privacy@arcfinance.io with the wallet address(es) you wish removed. To confirm ownership, the request must come from an email associated with the wallet or be accompanied by a signed message from that wallet.

We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation when the deletion is complete.

How to Delete Local Browser Data

Clear your browser's site data for arcfinance.io in your browser settings, or use your wallet's disconnect action. This wipes wallet session data, swap history cache, and any cached notifications. No request to us is needed.

Data That Cannot Be Deleted

Blockchain transactions are public and permanent by design. ArcFinance has no ability to delete or alter on-chain records. Any transaction you have signed and broadcast is visible to anyone with access to a node, forever. This is a property of the public blockchains we interact with, not of ArcFinance.

Questions

For any privacy-related question that isn't about deletion, see our full Privacy Policy or contact us via the official Discord/Telegram in the footer.
